Ticket policy

How tickets behave on this platform, and which rules are still to be approved.

How tickets work

The following describes how this platform behaves today.

Choosing tickets
You choose a category and then specific seats, or a quantity for general admission.
Seat holds
Reserved seats are held for a limited period shown as a countdown. When it expires the seats return to sale.
Payment
Payment is completed with the payment provider. An order is confirmed only after the payment is verified, never on the basis of returning to the website.
Issuing
An order can be confirmed while its tickets are still being issued. The ticket appears with its code once issuing completes.
Entry code
Each ticket carries its own code, shown on screen and scanned at the venue. Codes are issued by the Federation's systems.
Used tickets
Once a ticket has been scanned it is marked as used and no longer displays an entry code.
Cancelled tickets
A cancelled ticket does not display an entry code and cannot be used for entry.

Rules awaiting approval

The following are commercial and legal rules for the Federation to set. They are not decided by this website, and no version of them is published here:

  • Whether and how a ticket may be transferred to another person
  • Gate opening times and any rules on late entry
  • Age restrictions and requirements for accompanying children
  • What happens if a ticket cannot be displayed at the venue
  • Ground regulations and conditions of entry
Approved wording is not published yet

Ticket transfer, entry conditions, age rules, and conduct at venues.

This page is built and ready. The final text must be approved by the Federation before publication, so no wording is shown here that has not been approved.
